I wanna be a Princess....

We've been preparing for Halloween just a little bit around here....the kids have "fall parties" tomorrow at school and the Kindergarteners get to wear costumes. Both girls want to be princesses: Sarah Jane will be Snow White, and Sophia will be the lesser-known Aurora (from Sleeping Beauty). So when I came across this quiz, I thought it would be interesting. I must say, I always have liked Belle best!!

Intelligent and kind. Your beauty goes much further than your appearance. Also, you make judgements of people based on their personality and not their looks. Attaining all the knowledge that you can is one of your major goals in life, but you are also a person who can make things happen.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

I know I've written about this before, but God keeps bringing it up in my life in different ways...there's this great scene in the movie, The Little Princess, where the little girl tells the evil headmistress "My father says every little girl is a princess" and I know that since I'm a child of God, that really is true. And that means that I'm an heir, that I'm royalty, that there's an inheritance I can look forward to, that I'm set apart and adored by God....so why do my heart and my head have such a hard time feeling like a Princess sometimes? Maybe I need to buy my own Princess dress to wear around the house?! Hmmm...I've got a wedding dress around here, but there's no chance I'm fitting into that!!

I just hope Atticus never comes to us wanting to dress like a princess for Halloween.

On a similar note, there are several male students who wear Princess jeans. I guess when you have a twelve inch waiste, there aren't too many clothing choices.
