So, I know it's not still summer, but since it hasn't actually snowed yet, we're counting this as one of our summer goals met!!
We finally got Todd's bike fixed, so when the girls were out of school on Wednesday we decided check this summer goal off the list....we biked the Lost Bridge Trail to the Dept. of Transportation building on Dirksen and back to Rochester, about 10.5 miles. The day was just about the most beautiful Fall day ever and the girls were amazing!!
I love my family!!!

That's great!
Did Todd not wear his helmet? And did you take that picture from behind while you were riding? Or did you stop and have them ride past you while you took it?
Matt, are you surprised that I could bike and push a button at the same time? are you not aware of my amazing multitasking abilities? Okay, yeah, it wasn't easy....and had I crashed, I wouldn't have been wearing a helmet and could have sustained a serious injury...
gosh....sorry.....
boy...matt beat me to that question...
your bike riding/button pushing/family managing/dessert making(thought I'd throw that one in there after those awesome cookies...) abilities are impressive. you truly are an amazing multitasker.
