Could you be a Nomad?

There is something intriguing about the modern nomadic lifestyle.

I stumbled on one of these blogs a few months ago, and I'm fascinated...

Maybe it's the simplicity - selling everything except what you really need (and can fit into an RV). Maybe it's the family togetherness....definitely the cute moms with nose rings (but not so much the dreadlocks)...the green-ness (veggie oil fueled vehicles and raw food diets)...it's the adventure and the community.

Here are some of the blogs I've been stalking:
The Happy Janssens
We Choose This
Welcome to my Brain

I don't know if I would want to go whole hog (or eggplant), but I'm all about the de-cluttering, simplifying, and maybe even the nose ring....

What about you? Is it tempting to think about leaving it all behind and hitting the road?

No not tempting at all. I couldn't handle being cooped up in an rv, I don't need a big house, but I do need my own space. We've been working on simplifying though.

Awesome. I dig the idea. I once considered buyin' an RV to live in before married..I was looked @ as though crazy! lol. I think it would be a fabulous thing to do for a stint.

I do like the focus on simplicity, etc - regardless of the RV livin'

I look forward to checking out the blogs and I'm all for the nose ring. Friend, you are just full of surprises! :) love it!

SO JB always talks about living in a hippie colony one day.. which is pretty much the same thing.. Which sounds great right about now, I'm sick of my "stuff" and how it makes me feel grounded.

And whats so wrong with Dreads? ;)

I feel like I spend like 3 hours a day looking at the Happy Janssens blog! Whenever I talk to Ryan about something I read on their blogs I call them my "favorite people". haha! And I think you should go for that nose ring!
