So those of you who know my husband know that he is a HUGE Steelers fan....ever since Todd was a little boy, watching Lynn Swan play, Todd has loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Last night was the game to determine whether or not they would go to the Superbowl. And my husband was heartbroken that he would miss the 2nd half of the game to go to a church in Quincy and talk about campus ministry. So the girls and I called him every time there was a score or something remarkable to report about the game. And, the Steelers did indeed play a great game, and will be playing the Seahawks in the Superbowl in 2 weeks (just a little background for the non-football fans, but not necessarily important to the story....).
But do you know what Todd's talking about most this morning? Not the interception, not the win.....That after the Steelers won, Sarah Jane and Sophia both wanted to call and talk to him on the phone about the game, and congratulate their dad on the Steelers victory!! It was a sweet moment for this dad, who spent Sarah Jane's first day of life in the hospital watching the Steelers play football. His dream is coming true....now if only he could groom one of them to be the Quarterback Princess.......

No doubt....we'd be happy to host one, but I'm afraid the house isn't big enough....should we consider something bigger, say, in the Student Center?!
