Imitation

Yesterday Sarah Jane woke up before me, and I found her in my spot, on the big red comfy couch, with the new prayer journal she got for Christmas. At first I couldn't figure out what she was doing, but it quickly became one of those sweet parenting moments I don't ever want to forget, as she was imitating what she sees her parents do in the morning...and then she offered to let me read her journal.

I'm praying she'll still be offering when she hits high school.
**Oh, and just so you don't get the wrong idea, there's lots of crappy stuff my kids imitate me doing, too....sarcasm, eating junk food, watching too much tv, etc

@ folds his hands and yammers out some pretty sweet sounding prayers. He sings "Stand up! Stand Up for what you believe in, believe in. Believe in God! He's the One that helps you out" Then he says "CRAP" just like his mom.
