Does anybody else feel like the first day of school is a little like the Olympics I've been staying up too late watching?! This morning we competed in:
- Clothing Coordinating
- Hair straightening
- Breakfast eating
- Bookbag packing (almost got disqualified for over-stuffing)
- New-shoe lacing
- Lunch box packing
- picture taking
- trying to think straight about all of the significant, inspirational things you want to say to your kids to comfort and encourage them while a very nice newspaper photographer tells you to "just act normal"!

I have a lot of changes to make over the next couple years to get myself prepared for the pre-8 AM olympics
