**Not for weak stomachs**
I'm glad it's over.
Really, I'd like to just move on from this summer and transition into a new season of life. A season that's different from our last, from the season of Murphy's Law.
Just a recap....sinking bathroom floor, leaking faucets, peeling paint on the house, sagging storm door, dead air conditioning, shattered door window.....and somewhere in the midst of the repairs, the deep freeze in the basement was unplugged and forgotten for a few days. Just long enough to thaw things, but not start smelling.
Until it sat in a trash can until trash day (yes, gross...but what else do you do with spoiled meat?!).
yep.
This morning Todd grossed out neighbors up and down the street as he sat the rancid freezer food out for the trash guy. along with warning note and a few extra bucks.
Memory verse for today: Ps. 34:19 "A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from of all of them."
Today he delivered us by way of a grossly underpaid garbage man.
