The Bible Translation for Everyone

Our family started reading a new Bible this week. Two good friends recommended it to me. I was a little concerned that it would be too "young" for our family of pre-teens, but figured you could never have too many Bibles, right?

I LOVE THIS BIBLE.

We're just a few days into reading through this during our morning family devos and I've been blown away by the beautiful illustrations and fantastic writing. This morning we read the story of Adam and Eve and The Terrible Lie, and I was almost in tears as I read,
"You will have: to leave the garden now," God told his childien, his eyes filling with tears. "This is no longer your true home, it's not the place for you anymore."

But before they left the garden, God made clothes for his children, to cover them. He gently clothed them and then he sent them away on a long, long journey — out of the garden, out of their home.

Well, in another story, it would all be over and that would have been …
The End.

But not in this Story.

God loved his children too much to let the story end there. Even though he knew he would suffer, God had a plan — a magnificent dream. One day, he would get his children back. One day, he, would make the world their perfect home again. And one day, he would wipe away every tear from their eyes.

You see, no matter what, in spite of everything, God would love his children — with a Never Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love.

Get this Bible. Give it to your friends, your family, make sure your Sunday School teachers own it. And read the story with new eyes.

Thanks for the recommendation! What a great gift this would be for a child whose parents would also benefit!
Your excerpt was enough for me to order it right now.

Amen. We love it, not just for kids but for adults. At West Side we're trying to figure out how to use it more church wide and get it into the hands of more families. I think it's been on sale for less than $10 at CBD.com.

Thanks for the recommendation! We are heading to the Christian bookstore this weekend, we'll have to look for it.
