I'm getting closer to cool.....I wrote a while back about a couple of things that might improve my coolness factor.....
Well, I still don't run (though, for some reason I have thought out a plan of how I would train to be a runner if so inclined) and I haven't the money or the will to start drinking coffee...but my good friend, Natalie, has just started working at Starbucks. This means I'm one step closer to coolness.
At least I'm hoping to understand the whole frappa-cappa-latte language a little better, adding to the illusion of my semi-coolness...
And then I may get my nose pierced in Russia just so I can be like Misty.....that might make me look more cool to about 3 people.....and look like a total freak to about 300 more......
why do I even try?
yeah, so a week from now I'll be flying to Russia. Crazy. I've got so much to do.

Josh and I returned yesterday morning from a 2-week missions trip to Ukraine. We had a great experience. There was one bedtime that I didn't think I could make it through without hugging my children, but our days kept us busy enough to be able to put their little faces at the backs of our minds. I'm not sure what kind of work God has for you there, but I knew by the end of our time that the sacrifice of missing my boys was more than worth it.
I need you to go to Starbucks on June 29 (I know you leave like 10 minutes after that to go to Russia) and get a free sample of Starbucks Ice Cream. I was just surfing through blogs and my friend Tulip Girl (actually I don't know her but we've developed this blogship) posted about free samples of ice cream at Starbucks. This is will seriously magnify your coolness to be able to say you were there for such an exciting event.
When did springfield get a starbucks? Did I know this? The world looks a little brighter everyday.
Thanks Amanda....this is my way in....I may not like coffee, but I can certainly handle ice cream!!
When Taco Bell went out of business in Springfield a few years ago(in all 3 locations), Starbucks bought 2 of the buildings. Of course, 3 years later, we now have 2 new Taco Bells back in the Springfield market....thank goodness.
you are so funny. i actually got my nose pierced 2 days before i came to Russia for the first time...and soon you are doing the same thing, why not now??? :-) i need a little company...i'm the only non-punk person here that has a nose ring.
see you soon. oh i'm still going to respond to your email.
