I haven't had much to write about on the adoption front. DCFS is still holding things up with our adoption agency....we hear things like, "We'll have this report done in 10 days"....and then, "The report said we need to meet with the agency to determine what comes next"....and then who knows what delay they'll come up with.
So, I guess it's good that the holidays are a distraction, but we're also losing alot of time by not getting this homestudy done. We have the option of switching agencies just to get the homestudy done, but that requires more money and some elements of starting over. We've decided to stick it out with CHI a bit longer and hope it all gets resolved. Tomorrow is an important meeting with DCFS and CHI, so pray for a good outcome!!
