Finally, we got word today that CHI can go ahead and finish our homestudy!! God is so perfect with His timing.....This morning I just happened to look at our Adoption Timeline in the sidebar, and realized that it's been 6 months since we started this process...and STILL no homestudy. When we started, I had hoped we could have the homestudy part done in 2 months, 2 months to do the Dossier, and be on the list by now....
So, I was feeling pretty discouraged...especially when the 3rd person today asked that dreaded question, "how's the adoption coming along?". A call from CHI this afternoon changed everything!! So it looks like Wednesday we'll meet with our caseworker in St. Louis.
Woo hoo!! We're moving ahead!!!
