Dossier Done!!

This is what a Dossier looks like. For those of you who haven't done the Dossier Dance, here's a summary of the Dossier....each of these documents is different - letters from doctors, employers, financial documents, birth certificates, and reference letters. Each one must be notarized with very specific language, by a Notary Public whose commission doesn't expire within the next 12 months. This morning we took all 21 documents to the Secretary of State's office to have them certified. They check to make sure that every notary is official, and put a cover sheet on each one to certify them. Todd's birth certificate from Indiana had a pretty gold star, but the rest had the beautiful State of Illinois seal!

We FedEx'd the whole thing to our adoption agency in St. Louis. They'll get it tomorrow, and soon it will be on it's way to Ethiopia and we'll be officially "Paper Pregnant"!!
