Spring Break on the Indian Reservation

29 College Students
4 CSF Staff
3 Magruder children
1 Lasley baby
3 15-passenger vans
1 minivan
14 hours one-way

This was our Spring Break mission trip to Nett Lake, Minnesota!

All of the ingredients for the perfect storm...or an amazing opportunity to see God do some pretty sweet things!!

We did a little sledding...not only did our group go sledding on our own, but the Nett Lake Elem School brought the kids over to sled with the college students in the middle of the school day - - everything is different on the Reservation!

For Selah, it was her first time sledding since she'd been here, so it was extra-special.

Our students ran an after-school program for the kids, offering clinics in Basketball, Volleyball, Super-Hero Drawing, Science Projects, Drama, and Arts and Crafts. I was so proud of how they worked, and what a great job they did loving on those kids.

Not only did they do an exceptional job loving the kids, those college students loved each other SO well. We spent the week memorizing Philippians 2:1-11, and they put it into practice, taking on the nature of servants. We're thanking God for a great week!!
